The Lennox Head Heritage Committee (LHHC) is dedicated to the collection, investigation, preservation, and sharing of material relating to the history of Lennox Head on the Far North Coast of NSW.

We meet once a month to discuss all things history and are privileged to hold a large image collection, as well as archival and research material relating to the surrounding area. LHHC also retains some family history research documents.

Meetings are generally held the second last Tuesday of the month in the Heritage Room at the Lennox Head Library. Join us in telling the story of Lennox Head and Skennars Head, from pre-settler times to today.

We are a sub committee of the Lennox Head Residents Association Inc and a participating member of Heritage Advisory Ballina (HAB), which advises Ballina Shire Council on heritage related matters. HAB represents seven historical societies within Ballina Shire.

Lennox Head Heritage Committee respectfully acknowledges past and present Nyangbul people of the Bundjalung Nation and pays its respect to their descendants as the traditional custodians of this land. We acknowledge their living culture and their unique role in the life of the region.
